Olsenbanden strikes again!
Yesterday, Louise and I were some of the few who had been lucky enough to get tickets for the Ove Sprogøe memorial showing of Olsenbanden ser rødt (The Olsen Gang Sees Red, 1976) ind the Palads cinema in Copenhagen. Sprogøe was one of Denmarks most versatile and popular actors, and when he died about a week ago it made all the frontpages in the national newspapers. He starred as Egon Olsen in the 14 movies in the crime-comedy series Olsenbanden. This particular movie has always been a favourite of mine, and it was great to finally watch in on the big screen in the same cinema (although not the same actual room) in which it had premiered 28 years ago.

Having watched the movie we had some lunch, after which Louise went to Næstved to watch a Handball match, and I went to Toga to meet Hans and "watch" the Celtic - Dunfermline game on teletext, as no pubs in Cph. were showing the actual game.. That was a nice day..

Today consists mostly of boring chores such as washing, fixing the kitchen and - what is slightly more interesting - studying.

Lyngby lost 1-0 to B1909 about an hour ago - a match which I did not see. Apparently, I didn't miss all that much.

Also, yesterday I had another letter published in BT in support of the Danish health ministers suggestion to introduce mandatory tobacco signs in restaurants and bars (forcing the bars and restaurants to advertise whether they allow or disallow smoking inside). This as opposed to banning tobacco smoking altogether, which, in my view, is an intolerable breach of basic human rights and peoples rights to choose what to do with their own lives. (Jakob, I can't imagine why you'd support such a move!)

That's it, really.. For now, anyway..
